MCP

An MCP, or Manual Call Point, is a fire safety device used to manually trigger a fire alarm system in case of a fire or other emergency. It is typically located near exits or in other prominent locations throughout a building and is activated by breaking a glass cover or pressing a button. When triggered, the MCP sends a signal to the fire alarm control panel, which then activates the building’s fire alarm system to alert occupants to evacuate. MCPs are an essential component of any fire safety system, providing a quick and reliable means of initiating a response to a fire or other emergency.
